The review record

What NewSelf customers actually say

Both platforms, side by side, never averaged together. They measure different people, and where they disagree that gap is the most useful thing on this page.

Filed at BBB as NewSelf Ventures LLC, San Juan, Puerto Rico — and categorised as a DIGITAL MARKETING company, not a health business. That is three jurisdictions for one operation: San Juan on the BBB file, a New York address on the FDA letter, and a Wyoming registered-agent address in the site footer.

What the complaints are about

Annual prepay sold as though it were monthly is the largest group by far — about half the one-star reviews and the highest-dollar BBB complaints. One customer on a fixed income was billed $1,099.64 believing it was a monthly charge, then met an early-cancellation fee when asking for a refund. Then an AI chatbot wall with no route to a human. Then wrong or defective product, including empty vials. Distinctive to NewSelf and absent everywhere else in this set: aggressive outbound sales calls after a price enquiry.

What customers praise

Real results are reported, the sign-up-to-delivery pipeline is genuinely frictionless, and four of eleven BBB complaints closed with a full refund — which is probably what holds their B.

What we would flag

Their real price is lower than their headline. The site advertises “as low as $99.97”; the live annual plan works out at $84.99 for semaglutide and $114.99 for tirzepatide. The thing to check is the commitment rather than the price: the plan runs three months minimum, their refund policy applies that “regardless of the chosen payment plan”, and leaving early costs a full month at retail.

Sample: 29 one-star Trustpilot reviews, 11 BBB complaints and 2 BBB reviews, read 2026-09-14. Scores are read off the platforms directly, never from an affiliate aggregator — the figures those carry in this category are frequently wrong.

Before you pay

Three things to check on NewSelf’s own site

  • The ongoing price, not the first month. The advertised number is usually an introductory rate. Find what month two costs before you enter a card.
  • How cancellation actually works. Ask how many days’ notice is required and whether the membership and the medication cancel separately. That distinction is behind a large share of the complaints on this page.
  • What you are being prescribed. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound or Mounjaro. If the page does not say clearly which one you are getting, that is the answer.
