3 providers are running promotional pricing right now. Two of them don't say when it ends. · Verified September 15, 2026

One field. That is the whole of it.

If you join the price-watch list we store your email address. Nothing else, and deliberately not the page you were on when you did it.

The short version. There is exactly one form on this site: the price-watch email signup. If you use it, we store your email address and a label saying which channel brought you here — nothing else. No account, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, nothing sold or shared. If you never use that form, we hold nothing that identifies you — only an anonymous tally of how long each page was read, which carries no cookie, no identifier and nothing that could be traced back to you.

What we deliberately do NOT store, and why

When you join the list we record your email and a traffic-source label. We do not record which page you were reading when you subscribed — and that omission is the most considered decision on this page.

On a site like this one, the page is the health fact. Someone who subscribes from the tirzepatide page has told you something about their body. Store the email next to the page and a mailing list quietly becomes a health record, governed by some of the strictest consumer law in the country — Washington's My Health My Data Act defines "collect" as processing health data in any manner at all, with no minimum volume and a private right of action.

So we throw the context away and keep only the address. It costs us useful marketing data. We would rather pay that than hold a file we would not want held about us.

We also never ask for, and never store: your weight, your BMI, your dose, your medication, your prescription status, or any answer you give the routing questions on this site.

Why we ask for so little

Most pages in this category want something before they help you — an email, a quiz answer, your weight, your BMI. Each of those turns a page about a medication into a record about a person, and records about people seeking healthcare carry obligations most affiliate sites have not read.

We ask for one thing, and only if you want the weekly price check. Everything that would make that address into a health record — the page, the molecule, the dose, the quiz answer — we refuse on purpose. There is no version of this site that leaks your interest in a specific medication to an advertiser, because we never write that down in the first place.

What we do not do

  • We do not ask for your name, phone number, or any health information.
  • We do not run advertising pixels — no Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag, no TikTok pixel.
  • We do not run Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or any third-party analytics product.
  • We do not run session recording, heatmaps, or live chat.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your email address. Not with the providers we list, not with anyone. It is used to send you the weekly price check and nothing else.
  • We do not use cookies to identify or follow you.
  • We do not add you to anything you did not type your address into.

Leaving the list

Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and it works immediately — no survey, no "are you sure", no login. You can also write to editor@thestraightanswer.com and ask us to delete your address outright, which we will do rather than merely marking you unsubscribed.

The interactive parts run in your browser

The cost slider and the routing questions on this site calculate entirely on your own device. No answer you give and no position you move the slider to is ever transmitted — to us or to anyone else — nothing is stored between visits, and closing the tab discards it. If you would like to check that rather than take our word for it, open your browser's network tab and use them: you will see no request leave the page while you do. The single request this site does send is described immediately below, it happens as you leave, and it contains none of that.

What does happen when you visit

Two things. One is unavoidable for any website; the other we chose, and this section exists because we said we would describe anything new here before it went live.

  • Our host sees the request. The site is served by Cloudflare, which receives the standard information any web server receives — an IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. This is how the page reaches you and how attacks are blocked. We do not connect it to any identity and we do not build profiles from it.
  • As you leave a page, your browser sends us three numbers. Which page you were on, how many seconds it was actually visible, and how far down you scrolled. Added September 15, 2026. That is the entire message and nothing comes back.

Why we measure at all, and why it is shaped like this. We need to know whether these pages are any use — whether people read them or leave in four seconds — and there is no way to learn that without counting something. So we count the page, not the person.

There is no cookie, no browser storage, no identifier of any kind, and nothing that survives your tab. Nothing links one page you read to another, or to a later visit, or to your email address if you have given us one. Two pages read by you and one page each read by two people are identical in our records, because we never wrote down anything that could tell them apart. It is a tally, not a trail.

That is also why we do not use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or any of the session recorders that would show us a replay of your visit. They work by sending your behaviour to another company, and on a page about weight-loss medication that is precisely the thing we refuse to do. Nothing you do on this site is sent to anyone but us.

Everything this page is made of comes from this domain. Every image, every stylesheet and the typeface itself. There are no fonts loaded from Google, no embedded video, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics of our choosing — the only measurement we run is the first-party one described above.

One exception, and we would rather name it than be caught by it. Our host, Cloudflare, automatically adds its own small performance script to pages it serves, from cloudflareinsights.com. We did not add it and we do not read it; it is a setting on the hosting account, and it is being switched off. Until it is, your browser does fetch that one file from Cloudflare — which already receives every request to this site anyway, as the section above says. We found this by loading our own page in a real browser on September 15, 2026: it is injected only for real visitors, so every automated check we had run reported the page clean. We are telling you because a privacy page you cannot trust on the small things is worth nothing on the large ones.

This is rarer than it should be. A typical page in this category contacts a dozen companies before it finishes loading, and each one of those requests carries your IP address and the address of the page you are reading — in this case, a page about weight-loss medication. Removing them was a deliberate choice, not an oversight.

When you click through to a provider

Links to telehealth providers may carry a tracking code so the provider can tell us a referral came from this page. That code identifies the page, not you. It carries no name, no email, and nothing about what you read here or which options you looked at.

Once you are on a provider's site you are covered by their privacy policy, not ours, and they will collect whatever they collect — usually a great deal, because they need a medical intake to prescribe anything. That is worth reading before you enter anything. It is a different company with different practices and we have no control over it.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. The medications discussed here are prescribed to adults.

Your rights, and why they are simple here

Laws in California, Washington, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and elsewhere give you rights to access, correct, delete and port the personal information a business holds about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

If you have never given us your email, we hold nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing to access, correct, delete or port — the page tally described above carries no identifier, so there is no way for us to find "your" rows in it, and no way for anyone else to either. That is the point of building it that way. If you have given us your address, we hold it with a channel label and the date — and you can have any of it sent to you or deleted by writing to editor@thestraightanswer.com. Nothing is sold or shared in either case, so there is no sale or sharing to opt out of.

If this ever changes

The price-watch list was added on September 15, 2026, and this page was rewritten the same day to say so. That is the standard we hold ourselves to: if we ever add anything else that collects information — a saved comparison, an eligibility checker, an account — it gets described here, with the date, before it goes live. We will not quietly start collecting and update the policy afterwards, and you are entitled to hold us to that.
