About
A consumer information publisher. Not a pharmacy, not a telehealth provider, not a medical practice.
GLP-1 pricing changed repeatedly through 2026 — manufacturers cut cash prices, a pill version launched, compounded sellers moved — and most published comparisons never updated. We found one site ranking today that still describes a branded-only provider as selling compounded medication. The gap we're filling is not insight. It's maintenance.
Nobody needs another article explaining what a GLP-1 is. What people can't find is what things cost this week, what the advertised price leaves out, and what the current legal status of compounded medication actually is. So that is the whole product.
The practical consequence is that our comparison table is sometimes shorter than other sites'. A provider we haven't re-checked doesn't appear at all. We would rather list 21 providers correctly than 22 providers as they were in March.
Some of the providers we list pay us a commission when a reader signs up with them. Some pay us nothing and are listed anyway. We do not sell placement, and no provider has ever been moved up the page for money. The ordering rule and the full method are published at How we rank, and the disclosure appears at the top of every page that carries a commercial link — not buried in a footer.
We think that is the only arrangement that survives a reader finding out. Someone who discovers a commercial motive after the fact is right to discount everything they just read.
Whether a GLP-1 is appropriate for you. Which one to take. What dose. Whether a side effect you are having is dangerous. Whether compounded medication is a reasonable choice in your situation.
Those are questions for a licensed clinician who knows your history, and anyone answering them on a comparison website — us included — is doing something they shouldn't. What we can do is make sure that when you do talk to one, you already know what things cost and what the words mean.
If a price here is wrong, a provider's terms have changed, or we have stated something inaccurately, tell us: editor@thestraightanswer.com. We will fix it and say that we did. We would rather be corrected than be stale — being current is the only thing this site is actually selling.

Neither company is affiliated with this site, and neither endorses it. We reference their products because you cannot explain this category without naming them.
That spread moves. 3 of these providers are running promotional pricing right now, and two of them will not say when it ends. We check every week. Want us to tell you when yours changes?
Your email and nothing else. Not your weight, your dose, or which page you were reading. We deliberately do not store that. No trackers, never sold.
